Good option on the Luxor West Bank

Pros: Friendly helpful staff with good English. Quiet location generally. Spacious clean and tidy room. Good wifi most of the time. Comfy bed. Spacious bathroom. Nice hot shower. Glimpses of Nile from balcony. Good breakfast. Laundry service available. Pleasant poolside seating area. Short walk to the Nile and 5-10 minute walk to Luxor public ferry (25 EGP) and local shops. Easy to visit West Bank sights by bike. I'd stay there again.

Cons: While the location is generally quiet, the Guest House is near a mosque, and the locals do like to ride their loud motorcycles. The drain in my shower was slow and will be fixed. Some clothes hooks could be helpful. Nothing dire.

Pros: The staff were great. They sorted out an apartment next door for us when they had made a mistake on our booking.. They did everything they could to make our stay perfect.

Cons: There was no fridge or kettle in our room.

Pros: Gracious hosts. Has a pool in the middle. Feels like a summer villa Good breakfast Room had a nice balcony

Cons: WiFi doesn't work The furniture needs renovation Plugs in awkward positions Very close to one of the city's prayer broadcasting speakers which was ok in general but one day there was an hour long sermon

Pros: The cousins who run this guesthouse are super friendly and kind. They make great food and are always happy to give recommendations and help out wherever we need. It’s easy to meet other travelers as well!

Pros: We arrived earlier than the check in time, and although the room wasnt ready, they let us use a bathroom to take shower and happily kept our bags until we arrived. It is a young team and dont let that fool you cuz they were nice and helpful and the room was modern and overall good

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at the Oasis.The place is in a very quiet area. The facilities are very clean and the staffs are very helpful and kind. They will make your stay a really good experience without stress. Youssef helped with everything I needed and brang me to local place that weren’t touristic and more authentic
