Miskaa Nubian House

Pros: A unique experience, away from the cities and noise, but just a short taxi from Aswan, plus hotel provided boat crossing. If you want something different this place is a great option. The staff are friendly, prices reasonable, food lovely. The Nubian people are super friendly and we were welcomed twice by locals who offered us a hot drink and wouldn't accept any payment. The hotel has Kayaks for hire, you can swim in the Nile.

Cons: For us it was a perfect spot for a short stay relaxing after Cairo and Alexandia sight seeing and noise! If you want typical western hotel food and facilities this is not the place for you.

Wonderful place

A homely island stay

Pros: The property is really beautiful, set on an island of Aswan. The welcomed me in like I was apart of their family and made it feel more homely. It is such a beautiful property and accessible only by boat. The island is beautiful. Plus their kitchen is incredible - the food was delicious! I would always recommend people to stay here for the peaceful atmosphere and the incredible sunrises over the water.

Delightful relax in the middle of Gods lake...

Pros: Deligjtful hosting, excellent vienes and delicious food, a MUST away from noisy and dusty town, a deserved , fresh and peaceful stop for the adventure. Also, their cuisine is DELICIOUS. They arrange efficiently all for you, boat, tours and taxi to Airport.

Pros: Our host and his workers / family were most gracious, accommodating and relaxed to communicate with. It's certainly worth taking a moment for a friendly chat. The hotel itself occupies a great position after a short and smooth boat ride. The rustic, Nubian style is charming indeed. You'll love it.

Amazing and cozy.

Pros: The costumer service offered is amazing. They did everything to make us feel comfortable and enjoy the Nilo River experience.

Cons: Due the hot weather it’s impossible to stay inside the room cause even the AC can’t handle it. However we could enjoy swimming in Nilo River during this hot weather.

Beautiful island stay

Pros: Small, welcoming hotel with beautiful views. Staff was kind. Food was delicious and plentiful. Host invited us to join him for a beautiful sunset at one of the locals favorite areas.

Avis hotel

Pros: Les personnel de l’établissement est formidable, merci à Samir pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse, vous pouvez lui demander n’importe quel service il saura vous satisfaire. Merci également à Youssef et au petit Bassioni qui s’occupe parfaitement de vous pour vous servir les repas Nubien . En ce qui concerne le logement il est très bien entretenu et la vue sur le Nil est superbe depuis votre balcon . L’hôtel est situé sur l’île et les déplacements se font en petit bateau c’est superbe ! Il y a une terrasse pour le petit déjeuner et si vous vous levez tôt vous verrez le superbe lever de soleil sur le Nil ( voir photo) magnifique ! Les repas nubien sont bon merci à la cuisinière 👍 Nous y retournerons certainement car Assouan cache encore des trésors à voir . 😍

Cons: Le séjour est passé trop vite ! 🤣

Pros: The property is very beautiful. It is not every day that you get to sleep in a room with brick barreled ceiling. We could see the high dam from the patio of our room. Very nice little boat ride across the River to get to it. The food was plentiful. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved it!
