Pros: A nice house with a large terrace overlooking the Nile. Literally 7 minutes walk from the ferry. Mohammed is very nice, friendly and helpful. He organized trips and excursions very well.

Cons: The pillow is too big. It would be nice to add a couple of smaller pillows.

Clean, comfortable & welcoming! Feels like home

Pros: Very welcoming! The views from the rooftop are spectacular of the Nile and the sand dunes and the botanical gardens are just across the river. The rooms are clean and comfortable the wifi is great compared to other experiences in Egypt. The staff are very friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend! Thank you so much for an amazing stay 👍🏼🙏🏾

Stay in the Unique Complex of Nubian Houses

Pros: Location is in Elephantine island, a unique place in the middle of Nubian houses. Relaxing and quiet environment. Breakfast was served in the roof top with Nile River view (very nice view). Wifi was strong, washing machine freely used for the guest, equipped kitchen, clean, spacious bedroom. The hotel owner was nice, honest, quick response and speak a good English. He tried to do the best for the guest.

Cons: Stayed in the island is not a good idea for me which only for short visit (to Aswan).

Pros: I had an incredible experience staying at this apartment on Elephantine Island. The location is perfect—tucked away in a peaceful and quiet area with a beautiful balcony overlooking nature. It's the ideal place to relax and unwind. The apartment was spotless and well-maintained, and just a short 10-minute walk from the ferry. If you're looking to explore the Nile, Captain Ali is readily available to take you on boat trips! The apartment is in a house where a local family lives on the ground floor, and they were absolutely lovely. The lady of the house was incredibly generous, welcoming us with fresh fruit, and was always so kind. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and authentic experience in Aswan!
