Charming experience of Nubian house on Elephantine Island
Pros: Wonderful location on Elephantine Island, very friendly staff, comfortable bedrooms
Cons: Nothing really, great experience, it was just too short as we could only stay 1 night.

Easily my favourite place.
Pros: It is the most beautiful, idyllic island spot. Our room had a tiny balcony overlooking the Nile, facing the quiet desert side of the river. Lively restaurants serving good food and one serving alcohol were 8 minutes walk away on the island. The local inhabitants are not wealthy and the hotel surrounds are poor, but people are friendly and don’t attempt to interact with tourists. Cute children! No need to be worried. The hotel owner is very special - a much respected and very likeable woman who started the first hotel on the island. Her male helper is charming and supportive.
Cons: Our family room with 3 single beds was very small for 3 adults with luggage but we managed for a few days.

Pros: Hosts are very welcominng and kind. Location is probably one of the best on the island. Lots of spaces to lounge watch the Nile and West Bank. I'd definitely go back.
Cons: The room was a bit small, there was no coffee/tea available as mentionned in the description.

Pros: A wonderful stay at Beit Nubi – Aswan Village. The place is peaceful, clean, and truly reflects the authentic Nubian spirit. Hagga Om Shihab was extremely kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and authentic experience in Aswan.

My favourite place to stay on Elephantine Island
Pros: I enjoyed the balcony with the views, the different social areas, the proximity to the river so I could swim, Raghda was very useful and I loved her smile as she served breakfast in the morning, Ahmad's friendliness and watching him put such care into the aesthetics, all the colours and decorations, the room had everything I needed, Decent value for money. I am excited to come back again 😊
Cons: Just some small things: The water cut out once, and the electricity cut out once during my stay. It wasn't for long though so it wasn't much of an issue. Also, when I arrived, the room didn't have towels or soap or toilet paper, so I had to ask for them, but Raghda did bring them quickly. On the final morning, the cleaning staff tried to rush me out of the room before I was ready and before check-out time because the next guests had arrived early.

Pros: Best place to stay in Elephanine island. Ahmed was great, as was the accomodation staff, always ready to help. It has probably the best view of the Nile and the quietest terrace in the island. It's just magical.
