Pros: Great location on west bank. Rooms are spacious and adequately furnished. Also a nice rooftop to enjoy the views of Nile. Sayed and his team were very accommodating to welcome us late in the night. Definitely a great place for quiet stay

Great apartment with good facilities on the quiet West Bank

Pros: Very comfortable and great location. The hosts were very welcoming and organised a pick up from the train station. The area on the West Bank is great as it is much quieter than the East, a short ferry ride gets you across. We found some good restaurants close by. We were allowed to checkout late as we were getting the night train to Cairo, huge help. Outstanding stay in Luxor.

Cons: Very small things. The AC wasn’t as strong as the others we encountered in Egypt, it was hot and we couldn’t get it down to a very comfortable (cool) temperature. Some of the windows and doors (balcony) didn’t lock, not a massive problem but could cause problems with travel insurance. We did find quite a few ants, difficult not to I guess.

The Calmer Side of Luxor

Pros: The location was memorable as it overlooks the Nile and the night lights of the East Bank and local taxis are freely available to take you to the historic sights and wait for your return. The local ferry E£50 across the Nile is a short walk away. The property itself was modern & spacious and your needs were well looked after by Amin during the day. The swimming pool is larger than most at approx 30 m.

Cons: if washing facilities are needed there is a laundry around the corner

Ideal apartments with fantastic terrace and great views!

Pros: This place was a little gem that we enjoyed immensely for our one-night stay, we regretted not having extra days in Luxor honestly! The staff are all wonderful people, everything was smooth and pleasant. The apartment was very large, the beds comfy and the food really tasty! The best part was by far the fantastic terrace where we enjoyed every meal with excellent view to the Nile, right across from Luxor temple! In the morning we witnessed the sun rise and all the beautiful hot air balloons! We totally recommend it and would really love to return one day!

Pros: The apartment building is very well located on the West Bank of Luxor, a few minutes walking distance from the ferry to the other side. The flat is well-equipped and clean, several shops are located nearby. The owner was very helpful in assisting us with transport to and from the airport, and organising trips to both sites on the West Bank as well as further trips to e.g. Dendara and Edfu. All dealings went smoothly, in a friendly atmosphere, and everything worked out as agreed upon.

Top spot on the west bank

Pros: nice spot on the west bank. Very comfortable, with a spectacular view. The owner is very helpful

Pros: We enjoyed our stay very much. Sayed was very kind and helped us greatly by organising everything we needed without being pushy. The location was spectacular. Yes, a mosque is nearby, but I believe that in a Muslim country, you will always hear the calls to prayers, and we got soon used to it. Thank you also to our driver Walled and tour guides Valentino and Muhammed, who were excellent. We came as tourists and left as friends.

Would love to stay here again

Pros: The host and his staff were very polite and helped us with organising guides, arranging a driver, and answered general tourist questions without being pushy.

Pros: Syed was a fantastic host! The property was simple, but comfortable , tastefully decorated, but very authentic and clean. The views from the roof over the Nile were great. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! Home cooked with love by Jasser’s mum! Situated on the West bank, so quieter, close to the valley of the kings etc as well the hot air balloon rides, with great views of the busy east bank and cheap water taxis almost outside the door to get there. He sent someone to meet us at the station and willingly arranged trips, taxis, transfers, help and advise etc. Thank you Syed

Cons: I would have preferred it to be further away from the mosque, but there is one on every corner anyway.

Nile views, beautiful garden & pool

Pros: Felt very welcomed and everyone was incredibly kind, helpful and hospitable. The apartment was fantastic with incredible views of the Nile. Great restaurants nearby and shops.
