Villa Barba Luxor

Pros: This villa was amazing - very unique and memorable. Having been travelling for a few weeks it was a great place to stop for a few days, with the family able to spread out and all have their own room and kitchen and living areas as well. There was a very clean pool, although the weather wasn't warm enough to use it when we were there. The property even came with a resident cat! Having space -both in the villa and in the garden - felt like such a luxury from our previous cramped hotel rooms. However, it was the hospitality we received from Gaber and Mohammed were what really made it stand out. 2/5 of our family were unwell with the not so uncommon \

Cons: The villa is quite dark inside, which makes sense 99% of the year when the sun is blazing. We caught a cooler spell, but there were plenty of lights and the garden lighting is spectacular at night.

Best Accommodation & Hospitality

Pros: Amazing piece of architecture!! Every small piece has so much details & so much invested in this Villa , the most beautiful accommodation I ever booked ! Everything you need is there !!

A true oasis

Pros: Everything was perfect. The place is beautiful, even more stunning than in the pictures. It is a true oasis, one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. Gaber and Mohamed are excellent people, very helpful and respectful. We asked for privacy and they adapted perfectly. In addition, Gaber organized all the tours for us during our stay, completely personalized and accommodating new requests or unexpected changes. One of the best experiences we have ever had. Many thanks to the whole team, we can’t wait to come back! Shukran :)

Cons: That we had to leave

Beautiful house, dreamy gardens, huge pool, fantastic staff.

Pros: The villa is a beautiful oasis on the West Bank of Luxor, which feels like a world from the cruise ships and tourist chaos. However, a quick taxi ride or boat across the water will take you to the sights of the east bank, and out to the valley of the kings. There are plenty of locals to help with getting about. The house is beautiful—and the gardens are amazing- particularly at night when the blossom fills the air. Muhammad looked after us- great breakfast and anything at all we needed. Jaber helped us with trips and transport- both so friendly and helpful. Ps make sure you do the hot air balloon if you are there!

Cons: Nothing. We loved it

Pros: We loved everything about Villa Barba it was the perfect property for us. Especially: The privacy The size of the villa The beautiful presentation and decor The pool and garden The comfy beds The helpful team on hand whenever we needed them. Gaber helped to arrange all the excursions we needed and they were all fantastic and good value.

Cons: Nothing it was perfect! It is in a quiet part of Luxor which suited us. There are a number of excellent restaurants from a 2 - 15 minute walk from its rural location.

Pros: -The house is very beautiful and clean - Mohammed is very helpfull, he made sure we were well and helped us to get food and breakfast. -Everything was nice

Pros: Amazing Villa . Everything exactly as in photos. The most important thing that this place so calm. Our big company was so happy😊 We hope back soon ❤️

Simply Amazing!

Pros: The whole villa was amazing, it shows us that they put a lot of effort to maintain it. The garden is more than beautiful, there is a lot of fruit trees that the host allowed us to pick from whatever we wanted. The pool and the place were super clean, The hosts were very helpful and kind, I will definitely be coming back
