Eden on the Nile

A tranquil oasis of peace and relaxation on the banks of the Nile

Pros: A beautiful, tranquil retreat on the banks of the Nile, out of the hustle and bustle of the towns of the West or East Bank, but within easy reach of all the important sites. The staff, especially Tarek, were fantastic, organising cars for us to and from the sights / restaurants etc, being attentive to our every need and always friendly and polite. The room was extremely comfortable. The food was good. The pool area and garden were calm, beautiful and a lovely place to relax after a dusty morning of sight seeing. A definite little Eden on the Nile.

Cons: Really not much could have been improved, except that the hot water in the shower didn't last for two full hot showers.

Pros: Nice place with a fantastic view. The location is perfect is you want to visit the valley of the king. For the other places such as Luxor temple and Karnak temple, you can either use Indrive app or ask the staff to arrange transportation for you.

Tranquil Haven in Sacred Land

Pros: This place just had such a calm and safe energy when you walked in to it… so beautiful and boho kinda vibes, and I like that it’s small and relaxing… so much nature around away from the busyness - a little slice of tranquility! The staff were so friendly and helpful I only stayed one night I just wish I had booked here for my full 4 days in Luxor!

Cons: When I sat down to eat my evening meal the cats around the property came and wouldn’t leave me alone I had to take my food inside and eat it on the bed

A small, perfect place with a lovely garden and very helpful staff.

Pros: A small guesthouse with a garden going down to the Nile. So peaceful - absolutely like paradise. The staff are very helpful. [Thank you Tarek especially] They arranged taxis for us to the Valley of the Kings etc. The food was simple but excellent. We ate one meal in town but it wasn’t as good as at Eden. Bed comfy, sheets nice cotton. Hot shower. Lovely pool. Ping pong. We stayed 5 nights and were sorry to go.

Cons: We liked everything.

It would be silly to stay anywhere else in Luxor if there's availaiblity at Eden

Pros: Eden on the Nile really feels like stepping into paradise. The location on the banks of the Nile can't be improved, the meals provided were excellent, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the animals are friendly. So much thought and care has gone into every detail of construction and furnishing. I was a little concerned about being a few miles out of the city but Tarek took care of all transport -- and tour guide -- requirements. Eden is a family business, and it's obvious how much everyone there cares about it -- thank you Hussain, Khaled and Tarek! Can't wait to come back.

Cons: The only downside was the fact we only booked a one night stay. Our entire party of 6 would have loved to have stayed longer.

A unique , excellent stay in a peaceful place

Pros: It is a very unique experience. Run by a wonderful family, you live right on the Nile. The whole hotel is very clean. They provide an excellent breakfast, with delicious fresh food and they cooked a delicious dinner for us for one night. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower was hot and excellent. It is outside of the town so it is quiet and relaxing. Every taxi driver was surprised because it is quite a new hotel. We only spent 2 nights but waking up seeing the sunrise over the Nile each morning was perfect. We will come back when we visit Luxor again

Pros: The enviroment and place very nice and value for money

Peaceful beautiful kind oasis

Pros: Eden on the Nile is a beautiful, but above all peaceful oasis in the middle of a busy city that completely calms you. I even felt more need to stay there than to visit Luxor itself. When I checked out, I had booked a taxi to take me to Luxor Airport, but unfortunately I forgot my jacket in the taxi. Luckily, I had the taxi driver’s contact details. I then messaged Tarek, and he completely took charge of the situation and made sure my jacket was safely returned to the hotel so we can arrange the shipping afterward. I find this incredibly kind — I have no words for how grateful I am to Tarek. This is one of the best and most beautiful accommodations I have ever stayed at. Thank you!

Cons: Nothing, really nothing

Pros: I had a wonderful stay! The views were absolutely amazing and made the whole experience unforgettable. Hossein, Tarek and all staff were always warm, welcoming, and ready to help. The food was lovely as well—fresh and delicious. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Relaxing and amazing staff.

Pros: The location right on the Nile! How helpful, friendly and accommodating the staff were. The food was delicious every day. Such a relaxing place. The cute animals were so fun to play with. We wanted to get a driver to somewhere and the staff made it happen asap, catering to all of our needs.

Cons: Nothing it was perfect.
