Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor

Have been visiting for 25 years and will continue to do so, in fact I am returning in April !

Pros: The resort is beautiful and facilities are great, staff cannot do enough for you. This is a great place for families and couples they cater for everything and an excellent central base for visiting museums, temples, Valley of The Kings etc. beautiful location to watch the sun set too.

Cons: The resort was very busy and needed more staff in the main restaurant and the bar, I did complain because we could never get any cutlery in the main restaurant at breakfast or dinner and by the time you did the food was cold. We also waited 35 minutes to try and order a drink as only one member of staff working the bar and doing the job of 5 people, hence this was not his fault. However I did complain to management and within a short timeframe they sent more staff in to help the lone barman.

Pros: This hotel was a pleasant surprise for us. Great gardens and amazing way to wake up with birds singing. Our room was very spacious and had nice garden view. We enjoyed a lot the outside breakfast area next to Neilos. The hotel staff are polite and very helpful. Many thanks to the whole team. We hope to return in the future.

A Perfect Getaway

Pros: We had an amazing stay. The property is as portrayed in the pictures. The service was top-notch and the staff friendly. The friday night buffet was extravagant. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was well worth the price.

Cons: Would have been nice if the pools were open a little longer

Great experience.

Pros: Despite there being huge rooms all over the property, I opted for a smaller, humbler room with a Nile view and I loved it.

Cons: I generally don't like huge hotels with many pools and restaurants, but I found a sweet room with a view near the river and terrace and was very happy there. It was also convenient for the wedding I was there for.

Pros: Clean big rooms, great property Heated pool was good, decent breakfast

Cons: Buffet was not so great, Less options for vegetarians. It took ages to check-in, reception staff was overwhelmed. No kids club as advertised

Pros: The location on the island the scenery, food was good , staff are nice . But it is a little far from the center , but i preferred this .

Amazing island setting

Pros: Wonderful location, amazing pools, excellent and friendly staff. Very clean, set in beautiful gardens. Loved the island setting.

Cons: The restaurants were often very crowded, making mealtimes uncomfortable at times. Too many tour groups. Please vary the music, we came away with an earworm.

Would stay here again

Pros: Lovely and quiet as on an island away from the noise of Luxor. You can hear the call to prayer but no traffic. 3 beautiful pools with views of The Nile. We had a large room with Nile view. Staff are nice and friendly.

Cons: We ate at the Italian one night and I had the most disgusting pizza I have ever eaten! Elsewhere food is ok. Dinner buffet is expensive at 25 dollars each.

Happy times

Pros: Lovely....so peaceful and serene. Built on an island with spacious bed rooms. I think it's the best in Luxor. U have to order a cab to take u downtown, otherwise they have a shuttle bus that goes to downtown at 5pm and returns at 9.15 pm

Cons: There is nothing not to like except if u like loud places

Almost perfect….

Pros: Everything was wonderful - a perfect retreat after 3 weeks exploring Egypt. The room was huge and comfortable. We had a north facing balcony which was perfect - no sun. The grounds and swimming pools were immaculate - very clean and manicured. Breakfast was fab - an amazing spread (even chilli and rice if you fancy it!!)

Cons: The tranquility did not last into the night as the very thin partition between adjoining rooms meant we were woken at some point each night with shouting/arguing/video games? Over attentive pool crew (tip expectation) - although we know the deal after 3 weeks in Egypt. At least you didn’t have to pay to go to the pool toilets!! Food at Italian/chinese was ok but definitely the worst we’d had in Egypt (but maybe that’s because we’d eaten Egyptian everywhere else)!!
