Fabulous except for the restaurant

Pros: Amazing location Staff were charming Spa was a great experience Beds really comfortable Boat ride over to Benben works really well, we were met on time and a boat took us back at 03.00 to go to Abu Simbel

Cons: Food was ok but the waiting time at the restaurant was long 1.5hrs Menu was a real struggle to download and would be so much better with a physical menu

Pros: I really enjoyed my stay at BenBen Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hospitality was excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. The view is absolutely magical and made the stay even more special.

Cons: The only downside was the food. It was below my expectations and did not feel very authentic. I was hoping for a better and more local dining experience. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend the hotel, especially for the view and service.

Beautiful, excellent service = magical stay

Pros: Wow a short boat trip and we arrived at this beautiful oasis. What a beautiful and serine place. We were blessed with an upgraded room so had a beautiful view from the highest point on the property. Our room had a jacuzzi/ splash pool. We spent one evening sitting in the jacuzzi watching the sun set. The rooms are beautiful, modern and spacious. The property also has a beautiful restaurant with the most amazing food and drinks. The property offers an awesome breakfast with some nice sweet options. The property is secluded so we well away from the hustle and bustle of Aswan town. I have to make a special mention of the service. We experienced exceptional service from all staff, the staff made us feel at home and pampered. Thank you to all the staff of this property you made our stay magical. I will be back and will definitely recommend. Best value for money.

Awesome hotel on the Nile with great views!

Pros: Great little hotel on an island in the Nile with fantastic views. We had a fabulous stay and the staff were great. Good spa, nice and tidy rooms, beautiful balcony areas.

A Romantic Escape by the Nile

Pros: Truly unforgettable. I stayed here with my partner and the whole experience felt deeply romantic. Arriving by boat with the Philae Temple rising out of the water was breathtaking. The spa was a beautiful addition — we enjoyed a relaxing mud treatment. And dinner… held outdoors on the hill, under a sky full of stars, with live Nubian music drifting through the night — it was magic.

Island-hotel with views to Philae temple

Pros: Peaceful hotel on island with views across to Philae temple. A cool-water jacuzzi on the balcony was refreshing after a long day of sightseeing.

Cons: The staff could be a little obsequious and they tried to insist on you taking a tuk-tuk from the hotel reception to your room, or to the dock.

Fabulous location away from the bustle of Aswan with very attentive staff.

Pros: The location and view and very friendly staff. Also very generous with water. The management of the boat and land transfers into town was excellent. The welcome gift was a nice touch.

Cons: The prepared dinner meals could have been better quality...the menu was too extensive and too ambitious. The rooms could have been cleaned much earlier in the day..

A perfect stay to see all the wonders of Aswan and also to relax in the most calming atmosphere in the Nile river.

Pros: Benben is an amazing hotel. We loved the fact that you can only reach it by boat. The staff were so helpful and we would definitely go back. It felt like an escape from reality.
