Loved every minute of it.

Pros: What a stunning location, absolutely amazing views, and a truly peaceful atmosphere. This hotel is easy-going and relaxing, a far cry from your typical hotel experience in Egypt, which is exactly what made it so special. If you are into wildlife, you will love the herons, egrets and other birds from your balcony. Dinner was cooked fresh to order every night and was consistently tasty (thank you, Adel), rooms were comfortable and clean. You can really feel the pride the staff have in the hotel, and it shows in everything they do. Everyone went out of their way to arrange whatever we needed and make our stay effortless and enjoyable. I was genuinely sad to leave and would happily return.

Cons: Can't think of anything major. Maybe add lights next to the beds and make requesting the boat a little more streamlined.

Pros: There is incredible river view for all rooms. The room is clean, tidy and well equipped. The breakfast and lunch is also very delicious. Last but not least, the service is wonderful. All people there are so nice. They always answer questions in WhatsApp timely and patiently, and proactively provide help even before we ask for. The whole experience is excellent.

Aro Kato Experience

Pros: Great local experience for anyone visiting Aswan. It is a must. The staff were amazing and so was the accommodation. The place was very clean! Great view of Philae temple from the accommodation. Would highly recommend if this is your first time to Aswan.

Pros: We liked the Food and the View to philae Tempel. The big Stones and the Water Access was also amazing . The rooms are Nice and with aircon .

Do not miss this place!

Pros: This place is amazing! The staff is friendly, the beds are comfortable, the food is outstanding, and the scenery is breathtaking.

Amazing location and installations

Pros: Location and restaurant staff Strongly recommend doing a felucca trip with Captain Hasan

Cons: No daily cleaning /room service Bathroom clogged up with water after every shower No lounge chair facilities Catching a boat anywhere is expensive. Canoeing 10$ an hour!!!

Very peaceful experience

Pros: The location is absolutely stunning, with views to the Philae temple over the Nile. The staff was amazing as well, very caring and patient. We loved our breakfast where Rose was really nice and professional. We also enjoy the boat ride around the island. Rooms were spacious enough and have good light and views. If we ever go back to Egypt, we will come back to Aro Kato for sure.

If you want to experience the Nile and the Philae Temple this is the place to stay.

Pros: Great location, just a boat ride away from the Philae temple. Super nice stuff , Rose tried everything to make our breakfast memorable. You can swim in the Nile with easy access from the hotel. We came in August so it was flood season. Rooms were comfortable and air conditioning worked well . If you come for a sunrise experience at the Philae temple. This is the place to stay. The hotel boat takes you everywhere on request and for a small fee .

Pros: This place is truly amazing 🤩 I had a wonderful stay for one week and they really made me feel at home 🙏🏽 The service was excellent and Karim assisted in any extraordinary activity beautifully 🤍 With a boat you are only 10 minutes away from the amazing temple of Isis!

Perfect location, perfect people

Pros: We had an amazing time here. The people are so welcoming and kind. Theyy even showed us the village. The location is also perfect. Looking over the Nile and with a view on Philae Temple. Thank you all for this amazing time.
