Pros: Clean spacious rooms, good and friendly staff especially aya who took us to Nubian village tour.

An authentic taste of Nubian hospitality on the edge of Souheyl village

Pros: Like a family home with open-hearted and responsive staff naturally inclined to make your stay a happy one. The reception staff in particular are wonderful. Bedrooms are spotlessly clean and look pleasing. Spacious roof terrace for when the sun goes down. Tuk-tuks easily arranged if you want a lift to the centre of the village, though the walk there is easy and no more than 10 minutes. I liked the varied and freshly made breakfasts and well-cooked meals in the restaurant. A great place to feel part of the local community.

Cons: A small fridge would be a helpful addition to the bedrooms. You have to get used to the early morning call to prayer from the nearby mosque. A fixed service charge of 10% is added to your bill in the restaurant; it should be discretionary and given directly to staff.

Pros: The hotel offers a free Nubian Village tour. The front desk replies very quickly and thoughtfully. They also run a restaurant with delicious food, and there’s an adorable and well-behaved cat!

Cons: At night, there may be dogs barking, and in the early morning, you can hear the call to prayer. Light sleepers should bring earplugs. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect.

Warm stay & great food

Pros: My stay at the hotel couldn’t have been more comfortable! The staff were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to help me at every moment. Their restaurant serves some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had in Egypt. And whatever you do, don’t miss the free tour they offer in the village – you’ll get to visit the famous crocodile house and immerse yourself in the beauty of Nubian culture

Pros: A 5mn de marche du village. Petit déjeuner copieux (uniquement salé). Le personnel extrêmement gentil et serviable. Grande chambre. On se sent réellement bien dans ce guesthouse je le recommande vivement . Ils sont aux petits soins avec nous.
