Nour House

We recommend Nour house to anyone who wish to have a relaxed budget holiday in Luxor.

Pros: Nour house is a beautiful villa in Luxor. We stayed at Nour house for 4 days. There are amenities around the house, including restaurants and few shops. Nile and ferry to Luxor and Karnark temples is 10 mins walk from Nour house. The ferry will take ~15 mins to reach the temples. Our host Ahmed (owner of Nour house) brought good Egyptian breakfast and was very helpful throughout our stay in Luxor. The house is good average sized with balconies and had a view to banana plantation. Overall we had a wonderful experience at Nour house and would recommend to anyone who wish to have a relaxed budget holiday in Luxor.

Sunrise, sunset and swimming pool

Pros: We stayed in an excellent two-bedroom apartment with a balcony and very well equipped. Everything was very clean. The pool was a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing under the scorching sun. Ahamed helped us with everything we needed, gave us good recommendations for nearby restaurants and groceries shop, and also organized transportation to cross to the east bank.The area is great, far from noise center. We enjoyed the sunrise from the balcony and the sunset from the rooftop. The breakfast was also very good. I highly recommend it.

Pros: Secluded with clean pool. Kitchen facilities. Area agricultural, no tourist resorts . Locals very helpful and friendly. Good restaurant wothin walking distance.

Cons: House manager was a little intrusive. Nice guy but felt he was always trying to hard to be friendly. Wanted to take us on friends boat to restaurant, on his bike for atm, taxi to cruise, as if everything was far away and he would not specify cost. He would not tell us where they were. We found the atm ourselves- only 5 min walk, restaurants and shops 5 to 10 min walk. Price he quoted us for a taxi was triple what we actually paid by booking it ourselves. Wish he had just been honest about it all..

Fantastic

Pros: The host exemplifies what hospatility is; it's beautifully designed, fresh fruits await, spacious, cute & clean pool, attentive arrangements from host, ample modern / traditional space, secure feeling and fantastic peaceful lush location. I slept like a baby for 3 nights. Fantastic villa like hotel. Be sure to book it. Thanks Ahmed.

Peace on West bank of Luxor

Pros: The sound of nature at Dawn. The trickling of sunlight on the balcony drinking my morning coffee....much more

Cons: When in Egypt you will always get hassled but I must say this time was much less and very acceptable as they are just trying to make a living offering service.

Pros: Perfect location, very clean, comfortable. Luxury pool.

Pros: I rented an apartment in this newish villa with swimming pool for 3 nights. It stands out from the surroundings which are quite rural and you will be surprised that if looks quite modern and new but with traditional Egyptian decor features. The view from the roof top is nice good for sunsets. WiFi connection was great. Traditional breakfast was delivered by the host on the first morning. Host is very friendly, caring looks after his guests well. There were was selection of fruits and bottled water waiting in the table upon my arrival. He offered to ride me to the nearest market for grocery shopping. Invited me to the traditional wedding ceremony, helped with planning the transport and booked the boat ride. Highly recommend place if you want to stay off the turiatic busy area.

Cons: Because of the house construction in the neighborhood it was a bit noisy in the mornings. Good I took ear buds:)

Pros: Honnestly! Its the best house we rent in egypt Wifi ,hot water ,private pool, super clean! The host is really kind and proffesionnal I reccomend this place at 100%

Pros: This is a really great experience to stay in natural environment at luxor.Very spacious and well maintained apartment.with nice swimming pool and natural view with reasonable rent.I appreciated the effort of brother Ahmed.When I asked for cooking item,taxi,dollar changes,he arrange it very cooperatively.Also I will give my thanks to Brother Rony who gave us guide to luxor tour with reasonable cost arranged by brother Ahmed.I highly appreciated this house for staying👌

Cons: Only wifi has some problem otherwise this house is exceptional to stay.
