Lovely host, amazing house and close to all the ancient sites

Pros: Amira’s place exceeded our expectations, Amita was a lovely host. The house was beautiful with a lovely rooftop terrace to watch the balloons in the morning. With views of the mountains and Habu temple.beds were very comfortable. If you stay anywhere in Luxor area - stay here! Also it is very close to visit the valley of the kings

A lovely stay in a great location

Pros: The house is opposite Habu temple. The are some lovely restaurants nearby , and the area is very quiet. Ameria was on hand to Andre any questions. I would definitely have one of her meals as they were lovely. The roof terrace views were the best thing, you could see the hot air balloons in the morning, and the lights from the ancient monuments in the evening.

Pros: 23.10.- 29.10.2025 Shahhat House, my husband and I were here last year and it was beautiful. Safe surroundings, nice people, close to the ticket office to buy tickets to archaeological sites, taxis at the intersection, easily accessible tuktuks on the road, a short walk to the village or to the boat dock on the other side to Luxor, to grocery stores and a bakery, a pharmacy, etc. That's why I came back here after a year. And Shahhat House did not disappoint me again. A nice welcome from the owners Hamdy and his beautiful wife Amira. Everything without a problem. Spacious, clean house right opposite the Temple of Amun. There is an amazing view from the large terrace. There is nothing that would spoil this impression. I can only recommend everyone (couples, families, friends, etc.) to stay at Shahhat House. Many greetings to Hamdy, Amira and their beautiful little boy, Iva and Zuzana Prague Czech Rep.

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived

Pros: Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Host communicated with us and answered all of our questions straight away. The size and space of the house is perfect. The 3 floors make it really spacious when 4 adults stay. Two bathrooms and three large bedrooms with plenty of storage available. The roof view is amazing too both on an evening and throughout the day. Many pictures were taken. It's worth every penny, and I recommend Shahhat House for a place to stay when visiting luxor. Thank you for a perfect stay!
