Abou El Leef villa

Pros: This is a small magical garden, with a cosy little room. The atmosphere is amazing. The owner, and his daughter, are very nice and kind people. We are definetly going back there. Absolutely recommended. The couple from Hungary :)

Pros: This is a real gem. I really felt at home in my bungalow and in the green garden that I shared with two other bungalows. Surrounded by locals it's very quiet in comparison with the hotels near the Nile. Not to quiet: four restaurants, supermarkets and Habu Temple close by. Ask Haidi to make you duck. I ate it in the garden Delicious! It is the rural scenery, the rice fields, the mornings with the mountain view that makes this place unique. And it is close to the temples and tomb area. The road to the Valley of the Kings and all the temples is near Habu temple. I found it so beautiful that I came back to this hotel after I went to Aswan. And next time I stay here as well.

Very good for this money. Great location

Pros: Great location and very nice people. They let me stay in the room few hours extra before the night flight, for free. Thank you for that! They have a nice garden. Free breakfast, simple but good.

Cons: The room could be a bit more clean, especially the bed. And the AC didn’t work, they tried to fix it but it didn’t work so was a bit cold. But it’s all good when you get great people around and they really care to help you.

Pros: Very nice and very quite place. Very kind staff and great breakfast (just remember the coffee is extra), Walking distance (15-30 min.) from restaurant and top attractions. Baloon over your head in the early morning!

Pros: The breakfast was great. Quiet place to relax. Rural area all around. Nice green garden. Good staff for late check in.

Cons: They should add a sign with the name of the hotel in order to be found when you arrive.

Beautiful villa, lovely staff, great views

Pros: Beautiful little villa with traditional feel, big room AND courtyard AND garden AND day room AND camp kitchen AND aircon AND spectacular views of the necropolis hills day and night.. Staff were lovely! Gerges even went grocery shopping for me on the first night because the restaurant next door was closed. Excellent value. And as a solo budget traveller I really appreciated the friendly, helpful & respectful staff. Next time I come to Luxor I'm staying here again!

Cons: Loved it all

Pros: wonderful location in the countryside magnificent views ...short distance from the Valley of the Kings Valley of the Queens and lots more. The accomodation is a kind of rural farmhouse with courtyard reading room - owner was great. we booked or five days an liked it so much we extended for another days so 10 days in total. Amazing value for money.

Cons: There are some mosquitos - well it is in the middle of the countryside- however a can of insect spray took care of them - so do be prepared for that. T

A sea of tranquility from a loud and noisy city

Pros: The tranquillity, the host Mr Gerges is a true gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. Luxor is loud and overwhelming so to have a secluded safe quiet place to have a tea or a coffee away from the madness of the central city was a god send. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet and offered a real place to get away from the chaos of Luxor.

Cons: Nothing- admittedly it’s out of the main city that was a god send after a long busy day of seeing the sites and dealing with the local touts and people.

Pros: A very nice villa, a combination of local charm et comfort :) A very beautiful yard to relax after sightseeing. Within walking distance from the most beautiful (in my opinion) temple of Luxor, Hebu.

Pros: About El Leef Villa is a wonderful place where to enjoy peace and the beauty of Luxor’s rural side. It is located in a perfect position, close to all the main sites of the West Bank and far enough for you to enjoy the silence of the night and the singing of the birds in the morning. The villa allows privacy and independence, but there is also a wonderful guesthouse right next to it that offers breakfast, dinner, chay, and whatever you need.

Cons: The heating was not working properly, so during the night it was a bit cold.
