Nile Compound

Pros: Nile Compound is home. My family and I had a wonderful time, we felt pampered and completely relaxed. It is a peaceful place where you can rest your ears and breathe fresh air. Mahmoud and Elsa were always very helpful, as was the entire staff. They helped us organise tours and always had excellent advice.

Pros: Everything. The atmosphere, the staff, the rooms. Everything was excellent

Pros: Perfect pension on the west bank of Nile. Not far from the center though. Simple breakfasts but in a very nice setting. Beatiful view from the terrace. Nice pool. Quiet neighbourghood.

Pros: We loved our stay. The hotel was spacious, amazing facilities and lovely people. The best of locations. We stayed an extra night and didn't want to leave!

Pros: Great location, very good food and breakfast, very friendly staff and German- Egypt owner couple, rooms near to the river are very big and comfortable. We had a great stay at Nile Compund!

Pros: Beautiful, it’s a bit further away from everything but close to the valley of the kings, would definitely go again, great stuff and nice breakfast

Beautiful Nile views. Culture, nature and hospitality.

Pros: Quietly beautiful setting with natural views on the Nile. Spacious clean rooms with rooftop terrasses for resting and dining. Friendly multi lingual boss and personal. With swimming pool and breakfast. Fauna and flora in the garden and river. Close to Valley of the kings etc... Felouca and balloon or guided trips... all possible. Best greetings at Adham and Mahmoud, Ingrid and all the rest.

Enjoying

Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was large and had everything we needed. The food served was delicious.

Cons: Location is something to consider…. We had a very interesting and enjoyably memorable felucca sail across the Nile followed by a short tuk tuk ride to the hotel….all part of travel!

A lovely, peaceful place and well-located as a base for exploring.

Pros: The location (quiet area on the West Bank, with an unobstructed view of the river from our balcony). The pool/common areas are beautiful, with shade from pergolas and mature trees/vines. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a simple range of food, nicely prepared and healthy (we ate the salads and had ice in our drinks and didn't get sick)

Cons: We stayed in one of the older rooms. The furnishings and mattresses were a little older than we expected (albeit all of acceptable quality, and clean and neat)
