Very affordable accommodation on the West Bank!
Pros: Huge spacious room, very good price quality! Very kind owner, he did take us around on his motorbike if we needed a lift. He cooked us delicious dinners for 400 egp each, and he also offered a very fast laundry service for 300. Amazing breakfast included, and nice rural area to walk around.
Cons: Hot water may take a while to reach the room, but then it’s very hot. Funny shower head position 😅 The location is around 30 minutes walk from the ferry pier on the West Bank, and there are not many taxis or TukTuk going around the area, we didn’t mind walking so for us it was fine.

Really enjoyed
Pros: The property met our needs perfectly the room was spacious with a balcony and clean. The room was cleaned twice whilst we were there. The host, Basru, was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble for him. The breakfast was good and plenty of fruit was available.
Cons: Nothing we didn’t like but there are a few things you should consider when booking. Apartment is basic, with no tv but WiFi is good. Location is set in a semi rural area, only 10 mins from Nile but roads are bumpy all the way, the location is quiet but don’t expect to do much in that area.

Excellent quality, brilliant host and great atmosphere
Pros: The guesthouse was incredible overall. The host, Bashri, was very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. All aspects of the stay were tailored to my needs. The inclusive breakfast exceeded expectations. The room was extremely spacious for just the one person and had all the facilities which I required, all of which had been maintained well and were of a high standard. The views from the terrace were breathtaking and there was the right balance of noise between musical ambience, external playful laughter of children and quietness expecially when needed at nightime.
Cons: The location was a little bit out of the way, a litle bit far from the city and main sites, but that was a minor inconvenience. Also hot water was not always readily available, but this is more of a regional problem.

It feels as a home away from home.
Pros: If you are looking for genuine hospitality, you’re at the right place. Bashri is one of the nicest people I met on my trip so far. The food is amazing and made with love. The stay is peaceful and right by the Nile. You have a wonderful view of the nature and river. The room is big, comfortable and has airconditioning. You get everything your heart desires here. 10/10 would recommend

Pros: The hostel is located in a quiet area but still easily accessible. The room is very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very full and delicious. The staff is very nice and always here to help you and offer tours. I’d definitely recommend.

Excellent stayed and Tours!
Pros: My stayed here was excellent experience culture, Everything was so nice, people there were so kind and helpful, they were always asking us if everything was okay, the place was clean and comfy, the restaurant was available and the food delicious, even when our check out was so early 4 am for going to the airport, they made breakfast for us in the night and let it packed so we can take in the morning. They offer free pick ups and drop off form Train or Bus stations to the Gusthouse. Great location, quiet. Highly recommended Gust House in Luxor was bank!!!

Pros: Lovely helpful owner! Said made our stay in Luxor special. He picked us up from the train station for free. He can organise anything you want to do in Luxor and will make sure you get the best and smoothest experience possible. His priority is that his guests are happy as well. His guesthouse has a lovely garden - this is where you will have delicious breakfast. On our last day we had to catch our bus in the city center of Luxor, located on the east bank, so Said took us on his motorbike to the ferry. This was such a fun experience. Every single time we could count on Said's help! Thank you for everything. We really hope to meet again in the future.
