Pros: Master was enthusiastic. Upon arrival, we noticed a discrepancy between the map location and the actual location, which almost led to a misunderstanding. It wasn't until I called the host that his phone displayed my number. The host was very friendly and helped me book the sunset sail and the boat delivery service at around 5 am the next morning. The boatman also helped my son find the watch that had fallen off the boat and delivered it to the hotel. We are very grateful to them.

Great location and warm hospitality

Pros: Perfect location on Elephantine Island directly at the ferry. Easy access to the city, souk, and Nubian Museum. Cleanliness & Comfort: Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Food: Excellent breakfast. Lunch and dinner available on a terrace overlooking the Nile. Staff: Friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. They can arrange any tours you want and make you feel well taken care of.

Wonderful stay with an amazing view of the Nile

Pros: I had such a lovely time at El-amin Guest House! The location is absolutely beautiful — right by the Nile with peaceful views and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and everything felt very welcoming. El-amin and his family were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. They arranged transportation and made sure I had everything I needed, even small details. The home-cooked meals were delicious, especially breakfast by the river. This place feels authentic and full of heart — a perfect spot to experience Nubian hospitality and enjoy Aswan in a calm, beautiful setting. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Aswan.

Pros: Amazing location. Super cheap. Staff very friendly. Good room, AC working. Some mosquitoes, as it is by the river, so I would suggest leaving the AC on during the day. Wi-Fi failed often but it was acceptable. Small bathroom but with warm water. Great view from the room. They arranje tours If you want.

A nice spot in Aswan

Pros: From wh,en I arrived, the staff were all looking after me , and especially El-amin himself. He advised me and booked tours for me.. They served dinner each night on the solid patio looking out on the Nile . It was just next to the jetty for 5 minute ferry from Elephantine Island to Aswan. Elephantine Island is an attraction in itself, and you can stay in it. It has no cars and no paving , so interesting walks.

Cons: No down points really, good value room , with good value food . And a shop nearby and ferry at your doorstep

Pros: The host was extremely helpful and provided great convenience for my trip, making me feel the warmth and kindness of the Egyptians. The view of the river from the room was truly magnificent.

Aswan is much calmer than Luxor, and staying at the el-amin was a great place to relax.

Pros: This is a great guest house. Situated right on the bank of the Nile. Amin the owner is super helpful and can arrange any trip you want. The room was very clean.

Great location, great staff, great view from the terrace.

Pros: Great location, nice owner and staff. The view from the terrace was amazing. Ameen helped to organize trips around Aswan and to Abu Simbel on fair price.

Cons: When I was in shower, a lizard jumped onto me from the open net-protected window. Net should be checked.

Pros: My son and I felt very comfortable at El-amin's Guesthouse. El-amin is very friendly and accommodating. He also helped us organize excursions. The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the Nile. We also highly recommend the roof terrace, where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast. We can highly recommend Khalid's accommodation.

Pros: - best view of Nile from room balcony - excellent hospitality - modern rooms - location on aswan island in the middle of the Nile. -Owner helped us to get transportation to the island and on the way out.
