Pros: The property was very well located inside the village with the view to the mountain. The homemade family food was delicious. The apartment was also very tidy and well kept.

Great Spacious Apartment

Pros: Great Apartment. Spacious and clean. Lovely rooms and living room. Kitchen and Fridge available, which was great for our family. Suitable location as we went on a few activities including the hot air balloon. Lovely welcome and flexibility of check in and check out. Exceeded my expectations.

Pros: Our stay at Muhammad Ali House was great. The area around the apartment is a bit away from the busy road, but still very close to the Nile, a few minutes walk. And that's what we see as a big plus. Here you can relax from the very busy Luxor and gain strength for the next day. I recommend getting up early in the morning and enjoying your coffee while watching the balloons from one of the balconies. It's a beautiful experience. The accommodation is clean, bright and well equipped, the house is surrounded by greenery. Communication with the owner was great and fast throughout the stay and we were happy to welcome the help and advice of the owner's father. We would love to stay here again.

I stayed here for 3 weeks and I have nothing to complain about. The price was VERY fair and competitive.

Pros: Nice flat in a quiet area on the west bank. 15 min walk away from the ferry. The hosts were very welcoming and a fresh fruit and homemade pastries as a welcoming gesture along with a delicious mint tea 🥰. They provided me with anything I would ask for the flat and can help facilitate/organize any tours you might want to take.

L’Egitto genuino, lontano dal caos.

Pros: Sembra di stare in campagna, in pausa dal caos della città. C’è calma e intorno alla casa si incontra la semplicità della vita tranquilla, l’Egitto genuino che cercavo con i miei figli di 8 e 11 anni. In più il proprietario dell’appartamento, il Sig. Hamada, è molto gentile e fa di tutto per mettere i suoi ospiti a proprio agio. Ottima posizione se si vole fare l’esperienza in mongolfiera.

Cons: Un po’ difficile da raggiungere la prima volta perché google maps non trova l’indirizzo facilmente. Ma poi la posizione è top!

Pros: Très grand appartement, très agréable d’y séjourner. Ali nous a trouvé un chauffeur pour une journée afin de visiter la vallée des rois, le temple d’Hatchepsout et les colosses de Memnon.

Cons: the road where the apartment is located on is very rough and unpaved, which is common in Egypt i guess (wolf restaurant was our pick up and drop off point for our driver) everything else is perfect!! Thank you, Mohamed!

The perfect choice

Pros: Mr Ali and his sons were amazing, they were very patient and caring before and during the trip. They kindly helped to arrange everything we needed, and made us feel right at home. We could even see the valley and the early morning balloons from the window. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
