Loved Luxor, a very welcoming family run hotel.

Pros: The hotel hosts and staff were fabulous. This family run hotel was very welcoming. Ahmed in particular was a wonderful concierge who organised all for us including airport transit, sites and temples visits, guides, restaurants and further trips to Abu Simbel etc.... so much to see. Grounds and pool are very nice. Location is near all main tourist sites in Luxor.

Cons: Appartment was very large but could have been better decorated. The road was under renovations... but this is certainly temporary.

Pros: The property is beautiful and nicely located. The owner and his sons are such lovely kind people. The property was very clean, beautifully decorated and furnished with various Egyptian gods and goddesses.

Cons: There is nothing I didn’t like.

Pros: The place is spacious and quite near to ferries to go to the west bank where the main attractions are located. The host was nice and helpful. He helped arrange for our hot balloon and transports too.

Pros: Mahmoud was very pleasure guy that he help us for everything we wanted in our stay . The food he prepared to us was the best we had eaten in our travel !!!

Pros: Mahmood the owner is extremely helpful and kind. He lives next to the property with his family and there is a small organic farm on site. Mahmood will do anything he can to make your stay more comfortable including offering guests a free taxi to the nile river ferry on the west bank. We ate an incredible home made dinner which was truly delicious. The apartments are very spacious and have all the basics needed for a comfortable stay.

Pros: We stayed for 3 fantastic weeks in September and October 2023. Huge apartment, easily big enough for 6. Comfortable living space, large dining table, large kitchen with large fridge freezer, 2 bathrooms, and enormous balconies with sensational views! Every morning we were greeted by the fleet of hot air balloons on the horizon over the Valley of the Kings. Excellent air con. The pool was great, and the gardens will be wonderful when complete (they were extending them during our stay - the workers were so friendly and great to talk to). The family.owners were friendly, approachable and helped us with everything from food, trips to the village, tourist sites, supermarket and ferry port, oftening allowing us to stop off for coffee. A great time, recommended!

Pros: Dinner on the roof was excellent. The food was delicious. Staff was very helpful. Appartment was clean, nice and huge. From the balconies you can see the balloons flying over the valley of the kings in the morning. Sightseeing tours were well organized. Special thanks go to our driver Ahmed Altyib. He spook English very well and had a gentle and safe driving style. He is a organizing talent fulfilling our whishes.

Pros: Friendly Staff and lovely location. Nice big balcony and spacious rooms. Comfy beds.

Cons: Needed more equipment in the kitchen to be able to any self catering.

Pros: Leyla Apartments is a quiet place in the West Bank of Luxor with an astonishing view. Our apartment was huge with a living room, three bedrooms, a kitchen and two balconies. Mahmoud, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. He organized for us a tour to the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatschsepsut with personal guide Hassan who did a great job. Hassan is very kind and knows everything about the Old Kingdom of Egypt and the Pharaos. We highly recommend him! If you don‘t want to stay luxury in Luxor, Leyla Apartments is a good place to stay.

Cons: Unfortunately the breakfast is not worth the price. Better buy some fruits and fresh bread and eat it on your private balcony.

Pros: Our host Mahmoud was very helpful in organising various tours, feluca ride and transfers. Our tour guide Hassan was exceptionally good and knowledgeable. As was our driver Adam. The apartment was spacious and we enjoyed home cooked dinners on the rooftop terrace and also the pool. Thank you for our stay!

Cons: Apartment could have been cleaner.
