A little hidden gem -sun, mango trees in the neighbourhood, relaxing spot for mind and body.
Pros: I liked everybody and everything: The two Ahmeds, the owner and the housekeeping staff member are amazing people: helpful, hardworking, try to fulfil any kind of request. Ahmed picked me up at the airport in Luxor as early as 3 am at night, drove me to the guesthouse. Also helped with medication from pharmacy without asking. Breakfast is generous - either the European version with jam, yoghurt, veggies, fruit, cheese or you can have the traditional Egyptian version like foul an/or falafel upon request. The apartments are in perfect condition, the bed is 10/10 comfy, I even got an extra blanket, - mosquito nets on the windows, brand new plants in the well kept garden and sitting area. Clothes rack for drying laundry is a big plus. Ferry to east bank 10 minutes walk, motorboats available within 150 metres.

Chill stay at the west side.
Pros: It was clean and well organised. The garden outside is nice also. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The stay felt welcoming and chill. Thanks a lot.
Cons: The finishing work of the apartment was questionable i. e. The electric socket placements, and some other arrangements. It's not a big deal but it's something to improve. Besides, the location is on the West side which is still undergoing development work by the city. Also be ready for some mosquitos in winter.

Pros: This was the best value hotel I stayed at in Egypt. It was very clean and had a large living room. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. It was also very close to the ferry terminal; there were shops selling drinks less than 50 meters away, and the ferry terminal was about a 10-minute walk away. There were also many restaurants nearby.

A pleasant stay experience
Pros: I have arranged for someone to add me to the WhatsApp group and ask me approximately when I will arrive at the check-in location. Someone will be waiting for me to check in and introduce the relevant information to me. The landlord is very friendly. This is the cleanest and most tidy room I have ever encountered. Everything is brand new. They will ask you what time you want to have breakfast tomorrow morning and wait for you. Highly recommended!!

Pros: Diamond Guest House is tucked away in a quiet corner of the West Bank. Getting to and from the main part of the city can be a bit time-consuming or annoying, but if you're only staying a few days, it's manageable. The place itself is super clean and comfy, with great beds and air-conditioned rooms. It can get a bit warm in the afternoons, though. The internet was solid, and the bathroom was nice—though the shower was often clogged. At night, you might spot small lizards (I found them cute, but it might surprise others). Breakfast is served from 7 to 8:30, which means early mornings whether you like it or not. Overall, a nice and comfortable stay.

The place to stay on the West Bank.
Pros: Diamond guest house is exactly as advertised. Our room was very spacious, a lounge with settees flat screen smart TV and a cooking area. We had a large bathroom, plenty of hot water and the beds were the most comfortable of our trip. The provided breakfast was excellent with eggs, toast/bread salad, cheese's, yoghurt and bananas. Tea or coffee was also available. The staff were very friendly and always around if you needed something. The air-conditioning was very good and the guest house sits one street back from the Nile, this was a bonus as it was very quiet in the evenings and you could enjoy the peaceful garden.
