Amenti House - Private Villa & Retreat Center

Very beautiful and new villa.

Pros: Very beautiful villa. Beautifully decorated and complete. Helpful staff They took care of our tours and transfer. Nice and clean swimming pool. Beautiful rooftop.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful owner. Well located, close to ferry and more importantly peaceful (sounds of birds not car horns) The staff are friendly and helpful and ensured we had a great stay (5 days). Breakfast was fantastic, with views of the early morning balloons. The hotel organised a balloon ride and driver for the activities we were interested in and worked out perfect for us, we were very happy and we saw a lot of amazing sites.

Pros: Hassan, the host was very gracious and so helpful. He arranged trips for us with very nice, trustworthy people. The accommodation was outstanding and so relaxing and beautiful. Every evening we would walk to the restaurants at the side of the Nile and could look across to the Temple of Luxor. The breakfast was delicious… local dishes and fruits, served on the terrace by Abdul and Gamil who were so kind and welcoming and brought us more of anything we had particularly liked. Abdul would bring me fresh hibiscus tea when I was sat on the top terrace watching the balloons at 7 o’clock in the morning. It was a wonderful stay.

Amazing stay in Amenti!

Pros: Amenti is a true gem on the West Bank of Luxor. Hassan is an amazing host, totally committed to making our stay unforgettable. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well equipped, perfect for a family of four. The rooftop offers stunning views of the surroundings and is a great place to relax in the afternoon. Breakfast was plentiful, with so much delicious food! Abdel is a real chef who changes the menu slightly every morning. The area is calm, yet only a few minutes’ walk from many restaurants and about 10 minutes from the ferry. Hassan was also very helpful in booking our transfers. Thank you very much!

Pros: The tastefully decorated and themed environment, excellent fresh breakfast and a wonderful host in Hassan.

Cons: Nothing to complain about

Pros: The rooms were spacious, clean, and decorated in ancient Egyptian style. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel owner, Hasan, and his assistant, Abdullah, were very helpful with the information they provided.

I would live here 6 months.

Pros: Hasan is a great host and man. We met with his family. İ felt like at home. Abdullah is a great chef. Food was delicious, rooms were clean and nice.

Cons: Nothing.

Very nice and silent apartment on the west bank.

Pros: Excellent apartment, overlooking the pool and the garden. Very spacious and well equipped apt. with a nice balcony. Silent location a bit away from the main road. 10 min walk to the Nile and the ferry to Luxor east bank.

Cons: Drivers will not find the hotel, so you have to walk to the main road to meet them and guide them to the property. The property was locked when we arrived and we couldn't get in touch with the owner. After half an hour, and with good support from some locals, we got in, and then we had our own key and no problems. Without this hassel the rating would have been 10.

Pros: Very beautiful rooms and hotel. The food was delicious. Abdul was the best, he cooked us the nicest food we have eaten in Egypt, he was so helpful and felt like a true friend. We felt very welcome and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Cons: WiFi connection was not great
