Full Moon House

Pros: Very big appartement. Very nice host who helped us with suitcases. Just in front of everything and next to the public boat. Lot of choice for food around.

Cons: Not 100 % clean but for égyptien standard i suppose it was perfect (for european standard, the bathroom really needs more cleaning)

A Dream come true

Pros: From the very moment of our arrival at full moon house there was a wow factor!! Firstly the warm welcome from Mostafa .then the location right beside the Nile surrounded by good restaurants and shops . And across from luxor temple. Stunning views from the large top floor balcony. The apartment was perfect scrupulously clean and spacious . Breakfast was devine. especially the one for valentine's day. Mostafa and our wonderful guide Valentino put together a most comprehensive and incredible tour package, so together with our magical driver Ashraf ( not to forget Hussain) we explored everything we wanted to and far more besides our stay was exceptional. and Mohamed and Abdul looked after us so well. we will never forget you all and your kindness, nor beautiful luxor and it's charming people . Cons: Leaving!!!

Great value for money

Pros: Great host and staff. Massive property on ground floor we had two large rooms with en suite and a large lounge to ourselves. Mustafa and Ali arranged local excursions for us and they ensured we had a great guide called Huggy who provided us with all the historical information on our tours on Luxor temple, Karnak temple etc. would highly recommend this guide.

Cons: N/A

Pros: Hotel is sitting on the shore the River Nile and close to the boats that cross to the east coast of the river. Very convenient.

Excellent location, accommodation and food.

Pros: Right on the Nile. Accommodation was lovely, clean and tidy. Food was excellent and plentiful. Would recommend.

Pros: Full Moon House is in a perfect location and is a lovely guest house, the apartments are comfy, clean and well presented. Mohammed and Mostafa were very kind and attentive nothing is too much trouble to make sure you have a wonderful holiday and the views from the terrace are spectacular. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel welcome and also had a massive delicious breakfast every morning, served on the terrace with an amazing view of the Nile and Luxor Temple. If you need a taxi or a guide or advice you just need to ask.

Good option for West Bank

Pros: Big airy apartment, clean & on the river front

Cons: Sometimes outside noise (dogs barking) could be heard, but nothing too intrusive

Pros: Spectacular view and location.West bank has real city view for foreigners

Spacious rooms on the West Bank

Pros: Great location on the west bank, much more peaceful than the east bank but easy to cross by motor boat (100 EGP). There are also plenty of restaurants around. The room was comfortable and clean - really very large rooms- we had the 2 bed apartment and it was huge, so great if you are looking for space. A massive bonus was having a washing machine and drying rack so we could clean our clothes. Nice balcony with a view to Luxor temple, lovely for sunrise. Mostafa was a helpful host, good communication in the lead up to our stay, and helped us arrange drivers and guides as needed. The driver he arranged was particularly good- Ahmed was such a nice guy, so highly recommend you arrange this through Mostafa.

Cons: We had issues with hot water but Mostafa fixed it for us. We also had an internet outage but it was apparently down for maintenance in the street so not the fault of the host.
