Top end beautiful helpful. High levels of service

Pros: Beautiful top end property very tastefully decorated. Excellent hosts who speak numerous languages and will do anything to help.

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: We stayed a few days at Villa Nur at the beginning of January and had a truly wonderful stay. Amy took exceptional care of us and handled everything flawlessly — from arranging drivers to booking unforgettable hot air balloon tours (we basically just had to show up and enjoy). We stayed in a beautiful suite with an incredibly comfortable bed — the kind that briefly makes you consider cancelling your plans for the day. The place is warm, peaceful, and perfectly located, close to shops, charming little restaurants, and boat crossings to the east bank of the Nile. Villa Nur is simply the place to book for the best possible stay in Luxor — highly recommended, unless you dislike comfort, kindness, and magical experiences (which would be very strange).

Lovely effortless stay in this beautiful well run villa.

Pros: Very new clean villa on the West Bank of Luxor. Very spacious and fully equipped with a great outdoors dining area good for breakfast and coffee with a lovely swimming pool. We were greeted at the property by the hosts who were delightful and very helpful and showed us around this lovely property.

Cons: We loved everything.

Pros: Villa Nur is just as beautiful in real life as in the pictures - lots of space, beautiful styling and all the facilities you need. Mahmoud and Amy are great hosts and are more than happy to give you tips for nice restaurants and the best tour guides. We very much enjoyed our stay here!

So glad we stayed here for 5 nights - it really made our time in Luxor.

Pros: Beautiful comfortable rooms, private pool, clean and peacefully set back from the river side. Amy and Mahmoud were amazing hosts. With great advice, check in, helping us book wonderful Balloon ride and Felucca trips.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: We were met by Amy and Mahmood, the hosts when we arrived, having them sort out our pickup. They greeted us with a lovely platter of fruit, which kept us going throughout our stay. They were extremely helpful throughout our stay, helping us arrange boat rides and just giving some useful local advice. Amy was extremely communicative prior to our arrival, answering any queries and questions we had! The villa itself is huge. It is spacious and clean. It has a large pool, which is amazing to swim in on a hot day. The air conditioning in the bedroom is very affective and the kitchen is well stocked. The location is good, with a short boat ride across and you can visit most of the main sites. There is also a lovely shop a couple of minutes walk which charges local prices to all, so it doesn't feel like we are being ripped off. A lovely stay!

Cons: This is out of control from the property, but the surrounding area was in constant construction, which wasn't an issue in the night, however, during the day, when we wanted to use the pool, we had unfortunately a few observers, so if privacy is what you want, sadly this cannot be. The food places in the surrounding area are also to be questioned. We have travelled all over the world, yet found it extremely hard to find a decent food place that didn't make us sick. All the better we had a kitchen at our disposal!

Beautiful villa with welcoming hosts.

Pros: This property is in an excellent location on the West Bank. Amy and Mahmoud personally welcomed us when we arrived and they helped us to book our onward taxi to Aswan at the end of our stay. We had originally booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 4 as there was so much to see in Luxor. The villa was spacious and clean and the swimming pool was lovely. The villa was on a quiet lane just a few minutes walk away from the restaurants and shops. It felt very private and safe and we loved it! Really handy for hopping in a taxi to the Valley of the Kings or for an early morning balloon ride. Thanks so much for a memorable stay.

Cons: We would have benefitted from 2 sets of keys as our children liked to explore the area without us!

A beautiful villa

Pros: The villa was just like the pictures. We loved that it felt like a home. Pool was a welcome bonus after a hot day sightseeing. Amy and Mahmoud were very helpful in recommending tours and places to eat.

Pros: Villa Nur is a beautiful property, spacius, clean and close to all attractions. The swimming pool is fantastic and refreshing. The Hosts, Amy and Mahmoud, are wonderful. They are very kind and non-invasive. Before our arrival they organized everything impeccably, both the tours and the transfers. And then they offered us fruit, cheese, butter and advice on how to get around and were to go. In our many travels we have met many kind hosts, but Amy and Mahmoud do their job with love, with passion and we thank them for treating us very, very well.
