Great Resort

Pros: Everything was great; rooms, breakfast, staff, location, beach, however we were there only for one night en-route to Luxor so didn’t have much time for fully enjoying the property.

Cons: I do not like resorts, it is a personal thing. It’s not my vibe. If you like resorts this is a good option.

Pros: Great Restaurant, great accommodation, location close to windsurf and Kite surf centers, very good snorkeling spot close to the beach.

Cons: Proximity with other Shams resorts, full of people's and noisy..

Completely relaxing

Pros: So light , bright and modern. It’s lovely to see the palm trees through the shower glass ceiling. The bungalows are right on the beach. Sunrise on one side, sunset on the other. So remarkably peaceful. A private beach with no sales people allowed to bother you and a private pool for lodge users too. If you have kids, there is a larger pool and water slide further along the complex. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and is quiet and civilised and is located on the beach next to the diving centre where I learned to scuba dive. The staff here are always lovely, friendly and professional. It’s worth taking time to visit the spa where professionally trained staff offer a variety of treatments. Sit on your own little terrace, or at the restaurant and bar or on the beach. I keep returning here. I love it.

Cons: There is nothing I dislike here.

Great Resort 👍

Pros: I stayed at lodge area which was quite with great sea view and landscape Sea has lots of beautiful corals to snorkl around with sandy beach. The Aqua park Multiple swimming pools Food variation Animation activities Staff were friendly and helpful

Cons: At last day some maintenance guys did high noise at 8am got us awake! WIFI signal is too bad

I am at my most peaceful and rested at the lodge.

Pros: I love the peace and quiet, I love being ten steps from the beach. The restaurant does lovely food and the view there is just beautiful- straight out over the Red Sea. I can sunbathe right outside my room or on the beach, which is quiet. I love also the private pool. The people there work so hard to make sure your stay is happy. I keep going back to the lodge. A couple of times a year, it’s such a relief to get there. I even learned to scuba dive there what a fabulous thing to do. The diving centre is less than a minute walk. I love this place. The rooms are modern light and bright. The bathrooms are lovely with waterfall showers and glass ceilings. The lodge is my retreat.

A wonderful stay, we were supposed to stay for 4 nights but we extended it one more night.

Pros: A beautiful quiet bungalow style hotel. The bungalows are lovely and very comfortable and super clean. Shams is a group of 5 hotels, being a Shams Lodge (with 60 Bungalows) guest has its privileges ; private beach, private pool and a an awesome outdoor/indoor restaurant with a sea view. The staff are super friendly, professional and would do their very best to satisfy the guest starting from Ayman the manager, Khaled the chief cook, Yousef the barista who used to prepare the best double macchiato :) Safwat the head waiter, Zakareya , Mohamed and Ahmed from the beach/pool. I would definitely go again.

Cons: The Wifi service is very poor and undependable. It would have been nice if there was a sort of activity after dinner, like a group game, karaoke etc .

Pros: Everything was great, and stuff was super amazing. Good quality of food and beverages.
