Pros: Such a beautiful and peaceful place to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. The staff was very nice and helpful, they organized all of the activities I wanted to do.

Pros: A true hidden gem. Although reaching the premises is an adventure on its own, it was very much worth it. Comfortable room, beautiful view, a relaxed environment and very friendly staff. We would altogether very much recommend a stay here.

Yummy food and excellent views

Pros: Great hidden gem in Aswan. So glad we got to stay here, the views are excellent and the food absolutely delicious. I ate good and took so many pictures 🤪 you can establish in advance pickup from another part of the shore, we did that so we don’t have to drive. Thank you

Would defenitly be back

Pros: The location is simply amazing: a little corner of paradise on the Nile, very peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and so the air cond worked perfectly and kept the room at a perfect temperature. The garden is very beautiful and refreshing. The food is very decent. The staff helped me organizing a boat ride at sunset that was the highlight of my holiday in Aswan. They also helped every time a tour guide had to pick me up and had to find the road. Very chilled and relaxed atmosphere.

Cons: No wifi while I stayed but my mobile had a good coverage.

An idyllic getaway to relax.

Pros: Food was amazing, really big portions and delicious. The staff and owner were super helpful, hospitable and overall nice. Room was big and clean, bathroom utilities a bit run down, but functionable. We really enjoyed the big area to relax and felt comfortable to take a swim in the nile.

Cons: There is nothing else to do on the island, so depending on your preferences that might be a bit boring, for me it was perfect. (No souk, no restaurants, no hasslers)

Little paradise in Egypt, don’t miss it !!

Pros: Incredible and welcoming staff and food is excellent, the chef knows what he’s doing it was the best food of all our Egypt trip !! We could really relax there I recommend staying at least 3-4 nights. Staff has a boat and can bring you back on land when needed (takes less than a minute). They can also bring you by boat further to the Nubian village (go and back 500 EGP) 👍 They also have canoes for renting. We loved this small island, they take care of the garden it’s really beautiful, many spots to sit and relax, water of this part of Nile is very clean and you can swim even if it’s a bit fresh ;) The room with aircon was very comfortable, amazing mattress and pillows ! Thank you so much for this unforgettable stay !

Cons: Almost nothing ; water pressure in shower room number 3 could be improved and we would have liked reusable straws instead of plastic (same in the whole country..) to fully become environmental friendly !

Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Krouma Camp. The location is just incredible: quiet, secluded, idyllic and beautiful. If you are a cat person, you will be in heaven. As the location is difficult to find for taxi drivers I recommend letting the staff talk to the driver first. The room was okay but the location makes up for it. It has a good shower with hot water. The room heats up during the day so we recommend taking a room with AC. The staff is friendly, but communication in English was a bit difficult sometimes. The food was incredible. Overall we really enjoyed staying at Krouma.

Highly recommended if you want a quiet corner outside of the city chaos and you’re ready for a little additional effort

Pros: Real gem in the busy Aswan. The place is beautiful and very well decorated. The terrace is very peaceful and romantic. The staff is super friendly, and really available to ensure you have easy connections with the other side of the Nile at any time and the best possible stay.

Cons: There’s of course some effort to be factored in to move from and to the city center. Taxi drivers can be hard to get along with and sometimes try to overcharge tourists. As for the property, I had some issues with breathing at night, but it may have been personal issues - maybe some slight dust allergy or just nasal congestion during the trip. The rest was wonderful.

Best stay to relax and enjoy Aswans beauty and nature

A perfect escape from the tourist crowds—relaxed vibes, great hospitality, and a true home away from home.

Pros: I stayed elsewhere in Aswan but wanted to escape the touristy areas and immerse myself in nature. Krouma was the perfect choice. Great atmosphere, the ideal place to relax and unwind. It’s slightly outside Aswan, but easily accessible via Krouma’s boat service and a short taxi or tuktuk ride. Laid-back vibes, delicious food, amazing smoothies, and excellent hospitality. The staff is non-intrusive yet always ready to assist with anything—from tours to transport. No pressure, just good energy. It truly feels like home. Nubian music by day, a campfire at night, friendly cats, a lovely dog, ultra-comfy beds, and spotless rooms—what more could you ask for? Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it for a genuine, relaxing Aswan experience.

Cons: A little hard to find the first time, so make sure you ask detailed instruxtions on how to arrive, or arrange pick up from Aswan trainstation or airport by Krouma
