Relaxing stay on the waterfront!

Pros: This is an incredible place to stay. We loved the location on Elephantine island, the views are lovely and it’s such a chilled out vibe. Mohammed our water taxi driver was so helpful and Machood the boats caretaker was friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. These two guys are brilliant! They made our stay extra special. The decor was cute, breakfast was delicious, it had all the amenities you’d need. There was a fridge with drinks and you wrote down what you took and paid at the end. We loved the experience!

Cons: It is a bit noisy with it being a boat, so pack earplugs. There’s 4 rooms so you may be sharing with other people which I didn’t realise. Rooms are a little snug but the living room, deck and upper deck make up for it.

The most beautiful view of the Nile and the best staff.

Pros: Anakob was one of the best accommodations we had in this Egyptian trip. It’s such a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing and unique place to stay. We were so happy staying here for 4 nights. The location, the view, the service and the staff were amazing. Mahmoud was so professional, attentive and reliable. He helped us for all sorts of arrangements and kept checking on us to make sure everything went well. The boat, the room and everyone were so clean and nice. We do like the brand image as well. It’s highly recommended~~ such a wonderful life experience to stay at Anakob. Thank you, Mahmoud and the team, for having made such a wonderful memories for us. :)

Great stay, we reccomend!

Pros: Great stay and good for anyone staying more than 2 nights in Aswan, based on elephantine island! We really loved the location and the sunset and sunrise each day was amazing from the room. Rooms were very modern and comfortable and the staff were very helpful especially Mahmoud.

Cons: Sometimes it was tricky to get over to the mainland, however it is very well connected by a ferry and speedboat. Boat stocked drinks but would be good to stock snacks also to save having to source from elsewhere

Amazing Views

Pros: The family that owns the hotel is extremely polite and accommodating. They were always on top of everything and helped me coordinate all my travel to Abu Simbel and back to Aswan.

Pros: Very special place to stay. At the right (quiet) side of the island and with very supportive staff.

Cons: At night you can hear the walking bridge to the boat croak and screech against the wall, which is quite a bummer if you try to have a nice night of sleep. Some earplugs and everything is fine, however!

Pros: The location was amazing. We got a private water taxi right to the boat. It was lovely just chilling on the top deck watching the world go by. The staff were very attentive and came to talk to us. They even walked us over the island to a local restaurant. It was a very memorable and relaxing stay

Cons: There wasn't any thing that we disliked.

Pros: Прекрасное спокойной место для отдыха. Хозяин очень добрый человек, всегда помогал нам по всем вопросам. От Асуана есть бесплатный трансфер, который привезет в отель. Завтрак хороший. А как хорошо было просыпаться с видом на Нил и подняться на верхнюю палубу выпить кофе Спасибо большое!

Quel calme et quelle vue!

Pros: Quel calme et quelle vue! L’emplacement est certes éloigné du centre d’Assouan mais c’est tellement agréable d’être au calme avec une telle vue sur le désert, et le jardin botanique! Il y a de très bons restaurants accessibles à pied sur l’île, et on peut aller partout en bateau, il suffit de demander. La chambre est minimaliste et petite mais elle est très agréable et la salle de bain est très bien. Quel plaisir de voir tous ces oiseaux virevolter toute la journée et de profiter de la jolie terrasse. C’est un emplacement idéal pour les contemplatifs.

Amazing houseboat experience

Pros: Incredible views, super cool houseboat, and very friendly helpful staff. Cooked us amazing breakfast and maintained great communication before, during, and after the stay including bag pickup and drop-off by boat from the mainland. Tons of fun arriving by boat or by walking through the island to get here. Lots of fun restaurants nearby. Great bathrooms with hot water and good pressure. Air conditioning in each room. Super clean and well maintained. Comfy beds. Highly recommend! Would 100% stay here again.

Cons: Only thing that I want other travelers to be aware of is that even if you book out all the rooms on the boat, the boat is not private. The men who work here are awesome and super friendly, but they will be hanging out and smoking on the back deck making things not as private as I thought they were going to be.
