Pros: Gorgeous huge apartment in gorgeous authentic settings with gorgeous pool in El Gouna . It was very clean and had all necessities and toiletries . We appreciated the surprise morning breakfast . There is a washer in the apartment which is a plus . Staff was very smily nice and very helpful.

It was worth 2 nights just to see how the other people holiday and I loved the sports facility.

Pros: It was an experience trying to get to the location as it's in a plush mini-town which is for high-end tourists. The setting is pristine with manicured properties, lagoons and surrounds. The Ancient Sands is a high-end golfing resort hotel and in its grounds are self contained apartments which don't seem to be run by the hotel itself. The apartment was huge and had everything needed for self catering. The hotel itself was lively with entertainment, food and drink. To get around, Tuk-Tuks were always available at a set cost of 50 Egyptian Pounds which is about 80 pence UK money. There were shopping areas called Downtown about a 10 minute ride from the hotel and these had everything you'd expect. All very clean, upmarket and varied. For my needs, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting and playing at the world famous El Gouna Squash centre. This had squash, padel, pickleball, tennis, running and football facilities. An amazing complex which I'v never seen the like in the UK.

Cons: The apartment was one of many similar in the complex and there was little interaction with anyone unless you went to the hotel. The set-up was not my cup of tea as I like a more interactive and bustling environment. For such a plush place, the wi-fi was atrocious in my apartment and I had to sit in the hotel area to get a reasonable connection. Best to take your own internet. To be able to cook in the apartment you would need to visit a very useful supermarket in Downtown which would be about an hours experience or eat in Downtown and return anytime you needed feeding! The hotel itself appeared to be very pricey by normal Egyptian prices but then again it caters for golfers and the slightly more affluent tourists!!

Overall super lovely experience!

Pros: L’établissement est magnifique, les piscines sont propres, l’endroit est calme et reposant. Nous avons passé la fin de notre séjour ici, et c’était idéal pour nous reposer. Tout est propre, la surprise du petit dej surprise

Pros: Spacious and has whatever is needed for a comfortable stay.

Cons: I found ants repeatedly in the kitchen either on the counter or even inside the kettle.

Pros: Magnifique complexe hôtelier ! Le personnel est formidable. Proche de la marina d'El Gouna. Très bien pour se reposer. Piscines incroyables. Et d'une propreté parfaite. Je recommande cet hôtel surtout pour les familles et les couples qui veulent du repos. Merci

Reposant, classe et sécurisé

Pros: Appartement au top super bien placé, très propre. Propriétaire au petit soin dès notre arrivée, grand merci à lui. Je vous recommande vivement ce logement !

Cons: Seul petit bémole, un petit peu compliqué de trouver où se trouve le logement la première fois. Le propriétaire devrait mettre une vidéo pour trouver le logement à part ce petit bemole tout est parfait.
