Royal Apartments Luxor

Pros: Nice helpful owner picked us up from the train station for free when we arrived. Very Clean rooms. We had two bedrooms a small private balcony to sit on in the morning. The rooftop also have very nice big sitting area with good views. Very quiet area away from the busy roads. Good location not far from the center with all the shops and restaurants.

Cons: Problem with rhe internet. Very shaky, but I dont think it was a local wifi-problem in the house. More of a provider-problem. So nothing that Sayed can be blamed for.

Pros: Appartment was good, maybe way too big for a solo traveller, there are two rooms for sleepover. Apart from that, everything was clean. Location wise I believe it was safe. I want to highlight especially the reliability and kindness of the host of this place, as he drove me to the local touristic places, picked me in the centre and drove me to the airport and finally recommended some local places worth visiting.

Cons: Something you may not realize from on a first glimlse from the map is that the place is on the other side of the Nile river and not many Uber drivers go there. However, the owner can take you wherever you need for a small fee

Fabulous

Pros: Sayed the owner is lovely. He resembles Guz khan of Man like Mobeen. Lovely clean apartment. Sayed sorted parking for me as well. Terrace is amazing to watch hot balloons over valley of the kings and the valley lit up in the evening.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Only suggestion would be have some toiletries like bodywash/shampoo. But everything else is fabulous.

The best terrace views

Pros: This is a nice accommodation close to the Nile river with options for walking around, observing the life on the Nile and Luxor on another river bank. Also, some nice restaurants are nearby. The rooms are spacious and clean, the host is nice and ready to help you in case you need anything. A lot of options for day trips where the owner also might help. The absolute winner is the terrace on the top of the house with fantastic views over the west bank necropolis. We enjoyed it so much, we just couldn't decide which part of the day was better - the morning with numerous balloons, the afternoon with incredible colors, or the night with illuminated necropolis. The best terrace on our trip across Egypt.

Pros: This accommodation is probably the best place to stay in the whole Egypt. The apartments are clean and spacious. We were especially happy to find a washing machine in the bathroom after coming from a 4-days desert tour. Sayed, the host, is super friendly and helpful, always available and tending to all his guests. We really appreciate that we could just chill and rest in the hotel even after the check out while waiting for our night bus. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Pros: Great location for key sights and local amenities - felt extremely safe and able to familiarise yourself with local customs and culture. Great vacation experience!

Pros: The host was very helpful and friendly. There is a good restaurant near the public ferry. Friendly neighbourhood.

Pros: Very good location and the owner of this property I called him gift from God he is so kind and helpful and really I don’t have words to describe how great is he He did everything for us and make me feel more then home and did to us many services, see you again the best man for sure

Pros: Great location on the West bank of the Nile which made getting to the Valley of Kings & Queens easier. It was also a 5min walk the ferry to get a boat to the east bank and the Luxor temple. Exceptional host (Sayed), who helped with understanding the best ways(and prices) to get around Luxor and getting settled quickly. The rooms are spacious and the property is well maintained. There was even a lovely rooftop complete with fantail pigeons and views of the surrounding area.
