Great hosts

Pros: Medhet the host was accommodating and very friendly. Home made dinner was nice. Breakfast was good. The Medhet’s son Abdo, was my driver for a day. The host had organised a hot air ballon trip for me (which I didn’t realise they did that), it was an exceptional experience. Medhet also organised for Abdo to drive me to Aswan which made life very easy for me. Thank you.

Cons: There was no toilet paper in the toilet. Also asked for an extra blanket 3 times but never eventuated. It would be better if a spare blanket was in the cupboard. It would be good if there was a floor mat on the floor in the bath room, as it is an open shower which is great, but water goes all over the floor making it slippery and stays wet all night so going to the toilet is a bit dangerous. The address is wrong for even the local drivers as it is not where it said it was when I booked, which I found disappointing.

calm and very clean place for night, close to the valleys, family take good care of you

Pros: As a family of 3 we stayed for 4 nights in Luxor. The rooms are all fresh renovated and new, nice balcony and bathroom (with strong shower and enough hot water), you can use washing mashine for free, roof top for a nice view and the family take good care of you. As well there is a big clean swimming pool. If something is missing just ask, the owner gave us extra blankets, table and chairs. You can have a good egyptian breakfast, the owner can also manage transport or tours for very good price (half price compared to agencies around the city!). The location was not exactly from booking, but the owner can give all details via whatsapp or message in booking. You can rent a bike or easily take a tuktuk. The area is calm, perfect for a rest in night, banana trees around, as well we felt safe walking home in the night.

A good stay in quiet west bank of Luxor

Pros: The apartment was nice and clean with working AC and geyser. The breakfast was tasty and homely The owner also guided us to get good deals for tours and attractions.

Mountain view pool hotel in quiet Luxor

Pros: The space was very nice, the room was big and the hotel has swimming pool. The attention of the host was excellent, very kind, he looked after us all the time. He offered transfers from and to the bus station. He recommended tours at very good price as a full day around the temples with guide. The breakfast was great made with fresh ingredients.

Cons: The location was not the one shown on booking.com, it was another one further away and nothing was really in a walkable distance. We weren't warned before the arrival, but the owner explained us there was a problem with the original place and he solved it offering to drive us to where we needed.

Pros: very big apartment. quiet and very close to nile river.

Cons: its little bit hard to find the location.

Pros: everything was quite fine - I extended for another 10 days

Best in Luxor

Pros: The very best place in Luxor. The owner (Medhet) is very nice and super flexible, he arranged everything we asked for. The apartment is located on the west bank, very close to the Nile, the ferry and boat station are just a short walk away. Our room was spacious, clean and had a great view onto an oxbow lake. The best stay during our entire trip in Egypt!

Pros: This is a very nice, clean, freshly renovated hotel. Our room was spacious and comfortable and there was everything we needed in it. We also loved the big balcony with beautiful view. Mostly, we are grateful to our Host, who amazingly helped us with everything. There was nothing impossible for him, he helped us with all our tours and attractions of Luxor, advised us the best places to eat and things to do, he accompanied us all the time which always made us feel safe and relaxed. Moreover the location of this hotel is very convenient, it's in the middle of all main tourist attractions. We heartly recommend this hotel and most of all its amazing owner!

Cons: There is nothing that we didn't like, everything was great and we were extremely lucky to find this place.

Pros: Beautiful apartment! Very clean and quiet. Our guides were extremely helpful and did everything possible to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay here in the future!
