A truly memorable stay in Luxor

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. It was very clean and comfortable. Although the host was out of town, he went above and beyond to assist us and made sure we had everything we needed. He even ordered a free meal for us before our arrival, knowing we would come hungry — and the food was excellent! The location was perfect — only about 1.5 km from where the hot air balloons take off, and you can even see them floating in the sky from inside the house. The Colossi of Memnon statues are just about 50 meters away, so it truly feels like staying in the middle of history. Overall, the house was spotless, the host was amazing, and I believe this is one of the best locations to stay in Luxor.

Cons: We had a bit of difficulty finding the house at first, so I recommend contacting the host beforehand for easier directions. There were also a few mosquitoes around, which bothered our kids a little. In addition, the bed was a bit too firm and the pillows were quite high for my personal sleeping preference. Of course, this is subjective — some people might actually find them comfortable — but for me, the bed felt a little hard and the pillows were a bit too tall.
