AL Mansi Luxury Retreat

Pros: This is a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay in Luxor. The property consists of two separate houses facing each other within the same garden, which creates a quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Each house is fully private and complete, with a small living room, a kitchen, one bedroom, and a bathroom. The houses are modern, newly built, and very well equipped. Everything felt clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully arranged. The hospitality was excellent. We were warmly welcomed, and throughout our stay the hosts were always attentive, checking in to see if we needed anything or if cleaning was required. Although the property is on the West Bank, there are several restaurants nearby and small shops where you can buy water and basic supermarket items, which made daily logistics quite easy.

Cons: The main downside is the location in relation to Luxor’s main tourist area. Being on the West Bank means that to reach the city center you usually need to take a taxi, which can cost around 20 USD, or walk about 10–15 minutes to the ferry station to cross the Nile to the east side. This is not necessarily a problem, but it’s something to keep in mind when planning transportation and daily activities. The Wi-Fi connection was also very poor. The signal was weak and unstable, likely because the router was far from the house. The internet would connect occasionally, but most of the time it was either very slow or not working at all.

Pros: Sehr angenehmes Apartment.Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und komfortabel. Die „Nassdusche“ ist Geschmackssache, aber verschmerzbar. Auf das Planschbecken hatten wir im Winter keine Lust. Im Sommer wird man sich darüber freuen. Der junge Mann, der die beiden Wohnungen betreut, kann zwar nicht viel Englisch, ist aber unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Unter anderem hat er uns am frühen Morgen zum Flughafen gefahren.

Cons: Die Lage ist vielleicht nicht für jeden optimal, für uns war sie ok. Man befindet sich - was für uns sehr angenehm war - am ruhigen Westufer sehr nah an der gerade in Entstehung befindlichen südlichen Promenade. Restaurants und der öffentliche Fähranleger sind zu Fuß erreichbar, die privaten Nilboote sind ganz nah. Die Taxis und ein Fahrradverleih sind ein Stück entfernt, aber auch gut erreichbar.

Pros: Super Mata, un host molto disponibile e gentile su ogni cosa. Bella la piscina e l'appartamento con sdrai per prendere il sole.

Pros: Очень хороший, чистый и красивый отель в тихой деревне возле Луксора. Вокруг банановые пальмы, на территории есть красивый ресторан и бассейн. Спасибо большое хозяину за то, что делает это место красивым и уютным. Мы были в трёх недельном путешествии по Египту и было очень здорово, что в квартире была стиральная машина, мы смогли постирать вещи. Отдельное спасибо менеджеру ресторана Мустафе и его команде за то, что очень внимательно отнеслись к нашим пожеланиям в приготовлении еды.

Cons: К сожалению я не могу поставить самую высокую оценку, так как мы получили не то жильё, которое бронировали. На кануне хозяин написал и прислал другой адрес, сказал что отведет нас потом в наш отель. Когда мы приехали, хозяин сказал что в жилье, которое мы забронировали, проблема с водой и поселил нас в другой дом с меньшим уровнем комфорта (мы бронировали одноэтажный дом с выходом во двор, нам предоставили квартиры в многоэтажном доме с большим количеством лестниц). Жильё, которое мы бронировали, мы так и не увидели, поэтому весь мой отзыв относится к другому отелю - White gurf. Это жильё на букинг стоит на 10$ за ночь дешевле, разницу в 60$ за 6 ночей хозяин возвращать отказался. Мы были бы очень рады получить бесплатный ужин или поездку на лодке в качестве компенсации, но этого тоже не было. Также в квартире не было мыла, полотенца, туалетной бумаги, губки и средства для мытья посуды, но после нашей просьбы хозяин очень быстро все организовал, за что ему большое спасибо. В нашей комнате был продавленный матрас, который следует заменить на новый. Несмотря на эту ситуацию, нам с женой понравилось жить здесь и мы рекомендуем это место. Спасибо!

Pros: Die Lage war gut. Der Besitzer und sein Neffe waren sehr freundlich und ehrlich. Wir durften sogar nach dem check out noch im Garten verweilen solange wir wollten.

Feel like at home

Pros: Appartamento davvero grande, ben arredato e con tutti i comfort. La zona in cui si trova è vicina al porto per il traghetto ma allo stesso tempo garantisce tranquillità per riposare durante la notte. Il giardino è molto bello e la presenza della piscina permette di rinfrescarsi dopo le lunghe giornate a visitare i templi. La cosa migliore è in assoluto l'ospitalità del nostro host Matha che è sempre stato molto disponibile sia a darci informazioni che a rispondere alle nostre richieste (spostamenti, acquisto sim dati). Matha è disponibile anche ad organizzare una buona colazione per pochi dollari andando incontro alle esigenze dell'ospite. Più che un host abbiamo trovato un amico con cui condividere le serate a Luxor assieme ad un buon the. L'ultima sera ci ha invitato a casa sua offrendoci la cena e presentandoci la sua bellissima famiglia! Consigliamo questo alloggio a chi vuole fare un'esperienza autentica che va al di là della sola visita delle meraviglie del luogo.
