Outstanding host.

Pros: We originally booked a 2 bedroom unit but there were area water problems at that unit when we arrived and we were placed in smaller, better located unit which we chose over the booked unit when the water issued was resolved overnight. The unit is compact and full of furniture but very clean, good wifi, enclosed shower, and close to the river.. Two floors up without an elevator in the typical Egyptian building were the hallways are kind of trashy. The host is truly outstanding. Extremely responsive and helpful. He will make you feel very welcome. Very good value private car to Abu Simbel and he will help with anything else you might want. Not pushy just helpful.

Cons: Aswan was less engaging than we expected. Worth 2 - 3 days.
